Extreme Rubber-banding/Intermittent Sound

Played the first hour with zero issues, now the game is totally unplayable. Rubber-bands so hard that I can't interact with anything, and the sound seemingly does the same. Background audio cuts in and out and voice lines are broken.

i5 6600, 1070 - Not top of the line but again, played the whole first hour, including massive hordes of nids, with no issues whatsoever.

Google Fiber w/direct ethernet connection

I've updated everything.

Anyone else having problems with this?

Yeah been having this issue for nearly 24hours now. seems to be a server issue from what myself and others have seen and tested. It was basically completely unplayable for me yesterday, tried again this morning and had maybe 30minutes of it running smooth so finally managed to get through the tutorial but the moment the second mission loaded up it came back with a vengeance.

Are you getting the poor connection symbol in the top right while you play? and whats your ping running at while playing? i've only tried playing singleplayer both while online and offline and it makes zero difference to the lag

Yea I've got the red bars, but they aren't always there. How do I check ping?

Experiencing the same here. Had a constant connection issue since I played last night, came back today to see if it's fixed but it's not. The connection icon in the top right is there 95% of the time. Same audio issues also. NPC's also lag teleport around, still unsure how I beat the tutorial.

Go into a multiplayer PVP. My ping was around 580 when I got into one

Edit: press tab once you've loaded in and your ping is on the scoreboard

You dont even need to be in multiplayer PVP, it shows it while you're offline in singleplayer campaign. definitely some Tzeentch trickery going on here

Nice to see you posting these around man! i've added them to one of my threads and a few others, unfortunately i can't seem to interact with their website at all no matter what browser im using so i can't get on to upvote these.

I have made one other discovery, my Steam Deck runs the game absolutely fine, well, settings very low but the ping issue doesn't exist

Definitely some link between the amount of things being generated in game + network/server stability for the PC version. whether thats just PC Steam or both Steam and Epic im not sure.. i've got rid of the lag for the most part now but the moment any sizeable swarm appears its unplayable again. hopefully we'll have a response/fix soon to address this

its f----kin frustrating, 80€ spent on this s....It and cannot play propetly when I play a lot of demanding games on high or ultra.......
I tried all different options and "solutions" none works for me.
Games like SQUAD, CYBERPUNK, ALL TOTAL WAR GAMES, ETC ETC I PLAY ON ULTRA....
