This is absurd, every squadmember must be of a different class compared to the others... This is the dumbest and most meaningless rule that I've ever seen in a mp game.

No, a way to ruin multiplayer would be to allow players to spam certain abilitys to no end to make boss fights or other though situations a joke by letting them all choose the same class.

You would also not feel special anymore if you are not the only heavy around ;-)

Maybe they can allow it in private lobbys, but it would be a nogo in public lobbys, for me at least ;-)

I don't have a need to feel "special".

However, I think that people should be able to play how they want.

This class limit will damage player numbers severely, mark my words.

Pointless balancing for a pve mode. Is there a way to tell what everyone else is in the group before I select my class? When I join a group I am immediately shown all the classes and asked to select one, but I am not shown what everyone else is until I've made my selection.

I totally agree, it's also how space marine squads are organized. You have a team of heavies, or you have a team of scouts/snipers, or you have a team with normal bolt gun marines.
