Intel Core i9-13900K is above 90 degrees with 140 Watts of power
Guys, you gotta patch this game asap, because my i9 is insanely hot with proper water cooling installed and all. My first stream with pre release was horrible.

In normal stress test I can see 90 degrees Celcius with like 250-340 Watts on CPU.

My specs:
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 DARK HERO BIOS ver 1503
Intel Core i9 13900K
ASUS ROG Strix LC II 360
Kingston Fury Beast Black DDR5 - 4x 16ГБ 4800МГц
GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GV-N4090GAMING OC-24GD 24ГБ GDDR6X

Idk what is the engine of this game, but its doing wrong things with cpu.

so you either are bottlenecking your CPU or you are not using a proper program to check the temps of your CPU (windows system tools will not do). If a game pushes your CPU to max temperature in the main menu something must be wrong with that game.
Thanks, but there is no none synthetic app that can bottleneck my cpu. This is main reason why i bought it.

OK.. so I have an i9 12900k, and a NVIDIA RTX 4060. My CPU temp is 60-70d , my GPU about 75-80d .. methinks your problem isn't software related. Have you had any issues with any other application?

Its irrelevant to OPs issue, you dont have broken Intel scam CPU like OP.

The e-waste CPUs are

Intel Core i9 14900KS/13900KS

Intel Core i9 14900K(F)/13900K(F)

Intel Core i7 14700K(F)/13700K(F)

Intel Core i5 14600K(F)/13600K(F)
If you look in the post he said "I9 13900k " which so happens to be the same cpu im using so I do believe it's relevant to what im saying

it's legit not a game issue if your cpu temps are high it could be system bios setting related depending on the cpu try lowering the graphics
Lowering graphics doent helped either. This is the only game I have issue with. Like I said before, the common temps in best games are not above 70 C.

no, i meant the people who are not seeing high CPU temps are either hard bottlenecking their CPU by the rest of their hardware or are artificially limiting the max performance of their CPU to keep low temps. OR they are using windows system tools to check CPU temps, which will not give the actual results.

I love when a demanding game comes out and it actually uses the processor and people realize they shouldn't have bought CPUs that can draw 300W of power
undervolt it, buy a better cooler and better case.
AIO is fine, bios power limiter is 253 W. In game cpu consumes not more than 140 W. But temps are 92. So whose fault is it? A rhetorical question.

Well if I show proof then its a you issue not a me issue so my statement still stands

Rog maximus z690 hero eva
13th gen i9 13900k
running on 74c when playing the game at max everything
Good for you but it tells us nothing in vacuum - now compare those temps with the other demanding games you play.

No. My CPU is totally fine. Thanks.

You've been given a temporary fix that you can use until a patch arrives and you just dismiss it.

Okay, not my acually cpu model. Intel has a problems with some models, but mine is fine. Told you wattage consumption is 140. Water cooling is a best. See specs.

You bought a 300W CPU dude. One that no cooling on the planet can keep cool once its being used.
It limited on 253 Watts. There is no game that can push it to 253 Watts. Warhammer pushes it for 140 Watts max.

True they try to run a i9 13th/14thgen and a rtx40 series card on a 750w when they need like 1kW or 1600W power supply kekw
Mine PS is 1650 Watts golden.
Max productivity in game consumes 450 Watts.

they even confirmed on their discord that this is a known issue.
Legit it's "A issue" because people don't understand how to work the systems they built they do little to no research when buying components or updating software Legit I have 22+ people in my call right now all with I9 13900k with no issues on cpu load so its legit just a user problem with their builds
Only thing a missed its a ASUS bios setting that allows to consume 4000 Watts for CPU. Its their fault that I fixed, just because its insanity. My hardware is totally fine. CPU overheating is a software problem based on this none optimized game.

AIo little fan inside the housing unit might not be spinning even if the software says so it gets. I had that issue a long time ago where my AIO micro fan wasn't spinning and causing hot temps and wouldn't let me boot up to windows but once I plugged it back in and made sure it was on it went back down to 40c - 70c

OP do this - https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/article/how_to_check_if_your_intel_13_14_gen_cpu_is_affected_by_instability_problems
Dude my cpu is just fine with the best water cooling.

The purpose for which I created this topic is for developers to pay attention to it. There is a similar topic nearby, I just didn't know that there were already massive complaints about the game. Let it just be my topic.

go learn how to Undervolt and downclock. you fell for Intel Scam and you either have to make it slower or go buy actually good CPU like 7800X3D
