Intel Core i9-13900K is above 90 degrees with 140 Watts of power

Guys, you gotta patch this game asap, because my i9 is insanely hot with proper water cooling installed and all. My first stream with pre release was horrible.

In normal stress test I can see 90 degrees Celcius with like 250-340 Watts on CPU.

My specs:
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 DARK HERO BIOS ver 1503
Intel Core i9 13900K
ASUS ROG Strix LC II 360
Kingston Fury Beast Black DDR5 - 4x 16ГБ 4800МГц

Idk what is the engine of this game, but its doing wrong things with cpu.

i got i9 13900kf,and u know that intel fckl up us up and their flawed,set ur voltages and boost voltages manual,and enjoy normal working cpu,or maybe u had bad luck and yours is one of flawed ones.

If you disable the turbo it halves the cpu temps

Idk what is the engine of this game, but its doing wrong things with cpu.

You need to fix your power for cpu mate I'm running i9 13900k as well but my temps dont go that high. Set long duration power limit to 253W, then exit UEFI. This will allow the 13900K to go all the way up to 253W limit.

Yeah its being known to fry a lot of people CPU's. They will patch it, but don't expect to be fast.
Friend of mine had this same issue, we tested his CPU with every CPU benchmark software we found and multiple games, didn't go above 75.
In this game: 85+ in the menu, 90+ in game... rofl

OK.. so I have an i9 12900k, and a NVIDIA RTX 4060. My CPU temp is 60-70d , my GPU about 75-80d .. methinks your problem isn't software related. Have you had any issues with any other application?

Make sure you have your power limits (PL1 / PL2) set correctly in your mainboard BIOS. This has been an issue with the 11th gen through 14th gen with some mainboard makers setting the limits too high so the CPU doesn't properly throttle.

oof not good my man the chipset likes to draw more power than needed so its best to have it set to 253W but it also depends on if you have a cooler on the cpu anything from Air/water/aoi ...
