MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner OSD not working.
BTW so far love the game even if it shows me how bad I am at it.

Issue is OSD won't appear in-game. It works on other games I play ie, Diablo 4 or Helldivers.
I like being able to see my system's temps and usage. Greatly appreciated if anyone has any solutions. Also tried rebooting and reinstalling the apps already and nothing still. I'm also undervolting my GPU so I want to know if its applying that while in-game. MA and Riva are up to date as well.

Nevermind. Dunno what happened or changed, in less than 3 hours a small update happened to my game now the OSD works. I changed nothing on my end.

Ok. I dunno what happened. Epic Online services was saying I need to verify game files now the OSD doesnt work again. Nice.....

Works for me without issues, so the problem is probably at your end.
Make sure you have updated versions of afterburner and especially RTS.

same here, the game prompt me my RTSS is outdated.
i updated it to 7.3.6 and no issue now

7.3.6 is the version i have right now. but oh well. at least the undervolt works which is all that matters really. still would prefer to see my temps though.

Do u guys have ur setting for RTSS set to high or low. When it worked before the game file verification mine was set to low. Haven't changed any setting yet. Apparently theres people having crashes with MA/RTSS on.

I just installed the game a few hours ago but can't get the overlay to show. No crashes either.

Guess they don't go well together at the moment.

Mine worked yesterday and today it doesn't, good old PC gaming. Guessing it's that anti-cheat program that interferes because sometimes I see the OSD popping up there.

So dunno if its this but I read somewhere that you can remove Epic Game Services from your installed apps if it was installed automatically via this game. It doesn't seem to hinder the game after removing it. After I uninstalled it the OSD worked again. I think you can actually ignore the "verify game files" message when you run the game.

Does it now? I thought it was required for the matchmaking of co-op and PvP.

Close RivaTuner before you open the game then launch game then open MSI/RIV then manually turn on the settings you want to view fps & such.
This works for me & my roommate on separate pcs.

Came to post, if it doesn't work upon launching the game just tab out and restart Afterburner/RTSS and it should start working.

I don't think I can do that cuz it'll turn off my gpu undervolt I think. Not sure how it works but the undervolt wont apply once the game is running right? So running the game, then alt-tabbing to restart MA/RTSS, the undervolt wont apply?

As for the Epic online services matchmaking works for me without it. Also I heard its only on PC that matchmaking is broken, it works fine on console.

I was having this issue and this solved it for me plus now afterburner launches no issues thanks
Is there an actual fix for this? On my old laptop it always worked. Now I have to close MSI/RTSS and relaunch after I launch the game to get it working. What setting is preventing this from working correctly?
