It's not illegal (completely disgusting behavior though). If it was, Apple, Google, Facebook, etc would have long been shutdown.

Everything collects your data, too late for it to be illegal.

LOL you don't even know what a rooted phone is. there are programmed apps in memory partitions outside of the Storage and Ram of your phone.

rooting them will not remove them and they still gather your info and transmit them once they find a cell connection or wifi.

you gave them permission when you bought the phone.

you also gave them permission cus you gave permission to take info to the next person by transferring ownership and are by contract supposed to tell the next person who owns it about it and if you do not any collected info is your responsibility not theirs L O L .

the terms are very clear.

There is a very good breakdown by Edward snowden on how it works the programming used and the chips used to store the collection apps.

All have been verified by independent security firms

Welcome to 2024
Your data was sold in 2013 when you first connected to the internet.

i noticed the majority of people who defend this practice already have the game

meaning they like to get stepped on and accept policies even without the possibilty of refusing the contract

enjoy being stalked,

Facebook and Google track everything you do online so they can basically write up a dossier of you, so they know your age, gender, location, they know your level of education and how much money you make, and they know what kinds of stuff you're into

i'm gonna unsubscribe from this thread since its just the same people at this point with the same replies.

bump
I agree with the OP and it's sad to see people paying $60 to sign away their rights and give up their personal information. This stuff needs to be outlawed.
eepy83 Sep 6, 2024 @ 9:21am
nothing better than a person who, after being conscious that big brands like Google and Meta collects data, actually is ok that you can't opt out of data collection from something theyve put 70$ in lol

these brands actually sell your data to data brokers, you'd atleast expect getting paid if your information is being sold without your accord
