Help - What are 'champion packs'? Is Ultra cosmetic pack work it?

Need to know before I purchase, deciding between the different game versions / purchasing tiers, i.e. will the season pass be worth it.

champion pack is just a skin for heavy at least thats what i heard but if you get ultra you get all the dlc and the season pass

Isn't DLC free? Then the season pass gives you champion packs / cosmetic packs / weapon skin packs?

You get a brush on your head and an armor skin you cannot edit. Just get the gold edition for the season pass. You still have to grind each dlc set as well.

I'd say absolutely not, as an ugly blue and green skin that can only be used on one class and cannot be customized at all, I kind of regret buying it.
