(NOT BAIT) You shouldn't play the game until they add female space marines, heres why

Before you lose it and call me "woke," listen up. There are people who have been stomped on for centuries, and we're finally at a point where we can start to make things right. How can you sit there and play a game made by devs who are openly sexist, while also refusing to add even a shred of diversity? What's the big deal with having a single marine who's intersex, lgbtq or female (they did it for custodes) in the game? Just one!

One character! They could be on screen for five seconds, and it wouldn't hurt you at all. But it would mean the world to someone who finally sees themselves represented. And who’s really the snowflake if that idea gets under your skin? They don't even need to be the main character! It blows my mind that anyone would back a game that's deliberately pandering to right-wing values. Do you even know what you're supporting, or did some World of Warcraft YouTuber just tell you to buy it?

By playing this game, you're choosing to marginalize people who deserve better. That's the point. I get that some will read this and say they don’t care, but maybe, just maybe, try putting yourself in someone else’s shoes for once. All it takes is a little empathy. You don’t have to agree with them, but recognize that representation helps people feel less alone. It's sad that you're actively standing against that.

Edit 2: people have been very offensive towards me and that makes me sad; however - knowing that we are winning makes all the difference :)

I am very happy that people can have games with and without lgbtq. Thank the Emperor we have a few things left not giving their allegiance to the woke hoard. Why do you think you have to be a part of everything. Can't people that want a straight forward game with no real world agenda have it? Is it all about what the lgbtq want? It's time they stopped ruining games for that organization. It would mean the world to people like us, that do not want it in their life or games. Just like I dislike Rocky Road Ice Cream, I can have my preferences as well without it being phobic of some kind. Thank you for understanding you do not need representation in every single thing. Flip side of the argument is, it really doesn't hurt anything to add these characters and their preferences to games. Like, you may not relate to the character, but it doesnt actually HURT you. But Warhammer 40k isnt the setting where this kind of distinction really matters.

I do some drawing, reading some manga/novel, even painting Warhammer minis.

And each of those hobbies of mine are changed to one another from time to time when I grow bored of one.

Seems like you're making assumptions about the characters in the game. How do you know they're not "intersex" or "lqbtq"?

Only men are chosen to become space marines, because it makes logistical sense but also because Geneseed is a rare resource and you need to get the strongest warrior possible out of it. Men are physically stronger than women, Hence make stronger warriors.

As for Diversity, the Imperial Guard has every flavour of race and sexual orientation because they're made up of basically every able bodied human that isn't rich enough to avoid the front lines. Surely Billions of humans is enough to satisfy your checklist. Diversity should not justify ruining the Lore.

If someone needs the same gender for you to identify with them, then that's a problem with you. No one else. If you can't get into the death or glory, purge the unclean, FOR THE EMPEROR! Mindset, then changing sexual characteristics isn't going to change that.

How new are you to the whole 40k scene? Why change the lore to suit you? Have you played any other game related to 40k? Look up the sisters of battle. They are pretty much the female space marines
