I didnt say the game is hard anywhere? I said there are some obnoxious mechanics and badly designed systems like the AI.
I am doing campaign on ruthless and they are obnoxiously bad, you tell them to engage they just dont do anything. RUn in circles like headless chickens.
Im on second planet.
You dont even own the game....
It plays almost identical to the first, which isn't bad, but is shockingly different in pace compared to where the market has currently gone. It's multiplayer stuff is incredibly bland overall, but I could see it becoming something magical given enough time.
And with the $100 price tag, with a six hour campaign and bland multiplayer, it's hard to recommend for me. But hey, given enough time maybe it will become something fun to waste a couple hundred hours on.
And the game is UNFORGIVING. You screw up, it'll hurt for the rest of the mission...
I got stuck on MANY parts, and most of em I'd like to call "Bs" for how absurdly difficult they were... but it's a learning process as it gives you tips, but it doesn't hold your hand.
So many times I had to reset in certain places bc I kept dying, slowly figuring out how to win the engagements.
Another point is, the "market has gone" to all games being geared towards competitive games with high skill ceilings and not soo much focused on the enjoyment but rather how much you can beat the other person. CoD, Overwatch, and most other games similar have literally been doing the same thing for like, 15 years plus, its only gotten faster.
is it? is it really? 6 hour campaign and a live service...how is that amazing?
