Do I seriously need to buy an SSD to play this thing?

Updated drivers, restarted computer multiple times, verified download etc. The game is good until it gets to first cutscene then it freezes and crashes. Any solutions?

A lot of games benefit from it, bit silly to still be using a hard drive as your main drive nowadays lol

It might be somethign else.. although an SSD is pretty much required for most new games. Its helps a lot with loading times and such. Idk about crashing and freezes though. Thats might be osomething else. Are you up to date on drivers?

it's a f.king 21 century. And 2024. Go trow your Pentium 1 in the garbage and buy yourself a good gaming PC. Or keep playing mine sweeper. SSD technology been around for many years already to improve performance of PC. It you don't use it-you don't deserve to ply modern games. Period.

It's been mandatory for years now, there is literally zero reason to be running games off a hard drive in 2024 since SSD's are much cheaper and more accessible than they were years back.
