You didn't beat it on the hardest difficulty and you want a trophy for something very difficult... It's a participation trophy mindset, play what's fun not for some dumb reward.
SPACE MARINE 1, Every Resident Evil game, All the God of War games, All the Devil May Cry games, All the Spiderman games, Marvel Ultimate Alliance franchise, Bayonetta, Dead Space franchise, Red Faction: Armageddon, Infamous Second Son, Dead Rising, Silent Hil franchise... I could go on and on, but I've made my point.
But go ahead and keep arguing for developers to hold back on rewarding players for accomplishing things in game so they can sell you them in deluxe editions or later as dlc or make you watch BS twitch streams.
