Heavy is easily top class in pvp and pve
PVE: kills groups of mobs fast and elites too
PVP: hate to say it range damage > melee damage

ammo economy not a problem generally

i feel melee needs a buff but dont nerf range damage and heavy like Helldiver style

Still have to carry all those Heavies with my Sniper class
Yea it's only good when they can play

melee is pointless. I beat the game using plasma rifle and las fusil. Except the last dude because devs suck and keep taking weapons away mid-mission.

Melee work best vs Minoris (pistol execution spam = armor point 100% up in campaign even when swarmed) and bunch of Traitor marine since they are annoying to dealth with on close range

Heavy needs a nerf in pvp. All the braindeads just spam it
It is wild how overtuned the heavy class is in PVP. There already wasn't much point in melee classes but if there's a heavy around 90% of the time you can't even get close.

BS, you can throw a grenade and either grapple, dash or fly in.
You just need a brain to outplay a heavy that's all

Assault, vanguard, and bulwark can counter heavies pretty easily if they're not being well supported by their team.

Going off on a tangent, is it me or is the heavy's multimelta practically useless in PvP? Almost no range, and it seems to have a longer TTK than the heavy bolter at point blank.

Hammer.

Heavy wouldn't be so strong in PvP if melee attacks made you flinch like it did in the first game. Melee was the natural heavy counter before but now there is no counter other than flank/surprise lol.

Heavy is good at ranged combat, but will struggle in melee, wich you cant avoid sometimes in pve when you have a horde of enemies coming from several directions ar once while you are already deling with elites enemies (like those sneaky lictor and ravener).

Maybe the grapple works if you have a melee weapon stronger than a dagger, but I don't have that yet. I can grapple to him, then get point blank shot to pieces before I've even half healthed him.
