Low Fps

My rig
nvidia 3060 graphics card
32 gb ram
1tb storage space on samsung 870 evo ssd
intel i7-11700 processor
No matter what settings I change it to when I start most big battles my frames drop to 30-40 fps even at the lowest settings. I have seen other gameplay with a 3060 and people are able to get a smooth 60 fps or at least around that range. Anyone have any suggetions or something I am just missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here, can barely break 60-70fps on a 7800xt, 5800xt at 1080p native all low settings. Dips to the low 40s pretty often

Even with a 4090 + 7800X3D, main quest and multiplayer are optimized like crap. The frame rates are so unstable it's unplayable. Got a refund, super disappointed. I'll come back once they fix it.

People saying the optimization isn't bad are mostly on mid or low-end PCs. The better your rig, the worse the problems get

There is no solution. The only thing to do is wait for a patch to fix it. If you can't accept that, just get a refund like I did and wait.

Weird - it's butter smooth for me. Frametime is perfectly flat, as for fps i got 90fps avg in 4K/max settings/DLSS Quality on RTX4080/13600K.
This game is very intensive on CPU, you can see in HardwareUnboxed video that at 115fps the 7800x3d is already bottlenecking like crazy. I mean 4070 got 3fps less then 4090 in 1080p xD

I think its a bug 4090 here and whatever i do it stays around 75 fps.

Even if i drop down to 720p or 4k its still 75 fps ish with
Vsync turned off at driver lvl etc etc

Most of the time when ever I see posts with crashes/bad fps or whatnot first thing I wonder is this, I work with computers and tech support from time to time and peoples computers are filthy both how they installed, have their files all over the place, and got a zillion applications running in the background That could hinder things from working.

My best guess is CPU bottleneck, this game uses hard like 4 cores, the rest not so much. Changing graphic settings with no difference + high enemy count (AI uses CPU) is a good hint for CPU bottleneck.

Maybe your CPU Throttles because it gets too warm. What are the Temps of your CPU while you play?

Idle, my temps hover between 50-60, In game they can go up to 90, but weirdly the CPU Usage stays below 50% even in crowded scenarios. GPU temps stay between 80-85 even tho the GPU itself does reach near 100% usage. Being a laptop, the heatskin for both the GPU and CPU is pretty much the same, anyways gonna try dusting and cleaning it later, it's been a bit past a month since I last did it, maybe that helps alleviate some of my issues?

The thing is CPU temp goes up right from the main menu.
