8 Hours in on hardest difficulty, impossible to continue solo.

The AI are useless, and to make matters worse they are unable to pull aggro for more than the time to takes for the Tyranid to blink, recognise you as "that one guy", and drop whatever it's doing to B-line it's way to Titus's sweet cheeks. Unfortunately I pre-ordered this game and have to wait for a day one patch.

Hardest Difficulty, Solo, Cargo Elevator.

in angel of death, i only survive in forced defend missions cuz of dash slash of aoe power sword cuz it lets u move far while having a gun strike target most of the time against gaunts, also hip firing melta shots,

but yea i wish the AI atleast shoot down those gargoyles even if slow but no they just stand still or sometimes whack at a blocking warrior forever

skill issue, did the full campaign on the highest current diff, all I can say is atleast you didn't also have the ammo crates floating away between reloaded checkpoints. That made the cargo elevator take atleast 5 tries for me

lying issues if you didn't die all the way there, skills is acquired after retrying over and over and understanding the mechs, aint no way you just easily flow through the entire game on the highest difficulty solo.

I can;t even beat the antenna defense part on the easiest difficulty solo. AI is beyond worthless.

Do note the part where I said It took me 5 tries on that section alone. My point wasn't that it wasn't hard. My point was that it was doable even with bugs like the ammo crates floating away. I took 11 hours to finish the game on angel of death. I died dozens of times but at no time did I think it was impossible to complete solo. The OP needs to focus up and learn what works best was the statement. IE Skill ISSUE.

it's do-able, but doesn't mean its a skill issue, its more a skill+ luck issue because the bots do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it was meant for a good team coop. I consider myself good because I use to compete in esport for games and won many prize pools in more games that requires higher level of competitive skills and this game wasn't easy even for me. Hardest for me was doing god of war hardest difficulty with no hud. I've done alot of runs without huds but this, was absolutely bonkers because of how useless bot is and how many enemies just zone in on you. It's synthetic difficulty imo.

Just finished it on Angel on death solo with bugged kits. Took like 15 attempts and I had to autism route basically the entire level through with pick ups and enemies in my head, and I was at 1% hp with second life gone at the end. Stupid, stupid level...

Same here, finished the campaign on veteran with bots you'll be surprised that bots play very well compared to real players :)

Tbf, I died quite a bit on Angel of Death but ultimately ended up beating the campaign. The toughest fights I ran into were Imurah at the end (until I learned his move set) and the Carnifex in the Monastery, mainly because I chose the wrong weapons.

It’s definitely doable solo.

I used an occulus carbine and the plasma pistol w/ the power sword. You will also need the guardian revive from earlier in the level.

Another idea is to grab the multi-melta that is just to right as you exit the first building in the beginning and swap it for one of the weapons at the weapon drop at the beginning so it will be there when you start. But keep in mind that swapping weapons with it equipped in the elevator will cause it to disappear so do your weapon swaps first then pick it up. can also try saving the heavy bolter but I did not try this and not sure it will work.

Now for the battle itself try to focus on killing as many nids as possible between chains being swarmed. Watch out for the Warriors with devourer sniper since they can shoot through walls. Double dodge and rush them with melee attacks. Try to hit as many counters as possible and use your stims and titus ability as a last resort on the third or fourth chain is a safe bet.

You will need to rearm at least once so know where the ammo and grenade drops are. If you run into the bug where you cannot pick up the drops or the ammo cache is gone you will need to reboot your client. its the only fix I know of.

Goodluck you will need it brother. I made it with %4 left on the health of the chains on Angel of Death Difficulty solo.
