If you require your players to know about content on a roadmap, you are doing it wrong.
Ye the methods here is to make sure you get progress while in offline.
Honestly most people are probably just playing around in the armor painting mode, and won't actually play a game until they run out of points for paints etc.
No obvious way to edit armor and heraldry without actually joining a lobby, which is sorta bonkers.
that doesnt work cause you aren't guaranteed host and people can join halfway
who the hell in the devs team decided that this was how they should do it instead of just adding a 'solo' option ...
You go to terminal, select the operations tab, do not select a mission and just back out that menu.
It will ask if you want to change game modes, you say yes
Boom you are now in solo operations barge and you get too choose wether you invite someone or not
Now go kill xenos!
Really just cause you cant play operations solo YET you would refund the game? That's kind of dumb. Just get some friends like the rest of us so you don't have to play with randoms.
Just want to point out that this does not actually work. Once you go online again, you will lose your offline progress, it gets overridden.
Solo option for lobbies is coming next week.
No it works perfectly I used it to get my classes to 20 before release.
Just block connection, select mission, turn connection back and then go to mission.
You will be online as far as the game is concerned, but if you press escape you will see offline at the bottom right. So you will still need internet connection going forward, you are just in pseudo offline mode until you return to title. And every mission you will connect to server normally just no one can ever join you, even your friends.
Great flex btw, but who asked? You probably don't have friends let's be real if you have time to waste in these forums looking to call people out.
