To disable the Steam Overlay for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2,

follow these steps:

• Open Steam: Launch the Steam application.
  
• Go to your library: Click on the "Library" tab in the top menu.
  
• Find the game: Locate Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in your library.
  
• Right-click on the game: Right-click on the game's tile.
  
• Select "Properties": Choose the "Properties" option from the context menu.
  
• Go to the "General" tab: Click on the "General" tab in the Properties window.
  
• Uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game": Find the checkbox labeled "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" and uncheck it.
  
• Click "OK": Click the "OK" button to save the changes.

After following these steps, the Steam Overlay should be disabled for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. You can re-enable it by following the same steps and checking the "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" option when they release a patch.

Hopefully this will stop people whining about it - Yes granted you think it oversight from the QA point view ( before anyone who is a QA moans I am Senior QA myself)
