Something may be up. A few of the cores in my i7-13700K reached 97, never happened in any game, before max I saw was 88.

buy a new pc
If your CPU is i9-13900K, and it is hot and crashes and reboots, you are gonna get serious nightmare, headache, fury.
I suffered over an year, because I got i9-13900K. Even 2D games crashed. But it didn't reboot my system, and I didn't see the blue screen.
I could solve this issue with ASUS BIOS update released on April, 2024.
Using microcode 0x104, LLC Level is 6.
I tried the latest ASUS BIOS update and I had to roll back, because when I ran the game with the latest BIOS, it rebooted my system. I didn't check the temperature, but I could feel it was very hot.
I cursed Intel so much, very much. I still cannot forgive Intel.

Fix what? Games cannot make your CPU or GPU go above it's TDP. You either are using a stock cooler/fan, haven't applied any thermal paste or have overclocked the CPU in the BIOS. An off the shelf functioning CPU doesn't magically have a higher TDP than designed unless the product line was designed with a defect. So unless it's rebooting/crashing with the stock cooler it doesn't matter what temperature it is, because you're almost certainly always grazing the thermal throttle limit with the stock cooler and that's fine.

My 5800x3D is at 76 degrees which isn’t terrible but higher than normal

From the overlay the game is constantly using boost. I have Ryzen 7 5800X, usage around 30%, but boosted all the time to 4.6-4.7 from base 3.8. Temps around 70°C

I'm kinda worried that they didn't mention anything about the CPU's in their pinned "most common issues"

Unless the games logic an how it handles to tdp is broken or bugged
. Which is the case,
I can legit play every single game on steam an temps never go ablut 55- 65 c under load
An usage never goes above 50
This game makes temps dam near close to 90c an 90% usage
Untill my adaptive boost kicks in to scale back the voltages to help with temps
This is the only game that has ever done this
The only other game that made my cpu temps this hit was mass effect andromeda. So there definitely something off with the optimization
Dont get me wrong my fps is fine an can handle a solid 60-90 fps no problem. Also to boot bec how screwed up the cpu optimization is in this game dlss legit doent even work.
