Stuck on «Joining server»

Anyone Else stuck on the joining server screen when trying to join friends. Any fix?

Half of my PvE and PvP games are doing it.

It may be due to your NAT type, if you have a strict or moderate NAT it can cause issues with multiplayer connections that use peer to peer systems. It can be either your NAT or the persons you are trying to connect to. If it is yours, using a VPN while playing will circumvent your NAT.

My friend group all had to disable crossplay; we stopped having issues after that.

Played with a friend half of the campaign mission, then during intermediate load both got "disconnected from server" error, then story continued as if nothing happened - with major spoilers, as if we finished the mission successfully. Hesitating between positive and negative review

kind of bull crap feeling from the game. it could have been so much more!
