How to play Operations solo?

But I thought we were told over and over again that we could play solo with bots?

as soon as you choose a mission your being put in with random players, so you cant play with bots.. its impossible to play online with bots, it was false advertisement :(

I am actually so disappointed by this.

They told us over, and over again this was a thing.

But the preview guys in Youtube videos play with bots.

Well then they received a different version of the game than we received on Steam, because I see no way to prevent randoms from joining my game.

Private lobbies are listed as a season 1 roadmap item, so I'd assume that being able to limit it to only bots becomes a possibility at that point.

me neither, tried to leave party all the time but then i have to retake mission and que up with randoms, and then i cant pick my favorit class

Darktide was supposed to have bot/solo support two-to-four weeks after launch, and here we are two years later.

I am terrible. I am learning the game. Never even really played this type of game before. I am still getting to be decent with the controls. I dont want to play with anyone else right now... first operation, never played the class before, and I am forced to keep up with them, or slow them down... and just plain be bad. This totally sucks.

just wanted to throw it out there that when my game disconnected me earlier I chose to just run in offline because I didn't feel like waiting. After I finished I was expecting it to not level me up, but i still received xp like a normal game.
If you can get it to ask you to run the game in offline mode and you run operations, you will still get rewards. I am still able to level up my classes and im essentially running solo.

Turn cross play off and it lowers the chance of getting someone by a lot..
