It took me a little bit to get used to it, but you HAVE to use the melee combos too.
The armor system isnt cutting it for me and I'm dropping life extrem.
Its a skill issue, sure, but I think the SM1 system was more intuitive and fun.
But I will see, when I get better.
It feels slow and really not responsive at all , the gameplay is fun but I'm a little turned off by the melee.
It's kinda lackluster. Press something to counter the alien... I don't know.
I was hoping to be more dinamic and had better response.
I feel they try to do some elden ring thing.... Not fun.
ps: vermintide is AWESOME btw :D
It's clunky, yes, just like the first game, but not as bad. Not sure what anyone was expecting from a dev with a mediocre rap sheet and a series that was known for jank.
You should be playing this for the same reasron as the first, which is mental space marine fantasy. A good game this is not, it's mediocre, which fits its average score of 80~.
