How to play with friends?

So I've played an eternal war match and operations already. Getting in and put of lobbies is super quick so the servers seem...fine... playing with Randoms has been no issue at all, but when I try to join my friends or vice versa we get stuck at the joining server screen. So do the servers work or not? I'm getting mixed signals

having the same problem with invites myself, when i quick join randoms its fine, when i try to invite a friend or join a friend it wont work

i have the opposite issue, i cant play with bots...

When on the ship you press Y to open the squad menu then join your friends squad using thier code or have them join your squad using yours once you are all together start a mission i have yet to try swapping to PVE or multiplayer after doing this but i assume it should keep the squad together

are your friends also pc or console? because trying to get in a lobby with my friend is a nightmare, 95% of the time it gets stuck on connecting to server and we have to leave

Me and friends are having the same issues, can play PvE and PVP in random singles, but when creating a group to do it as a team we are all getting held up on the loading screen, no movement on the slider,

The host player can then kick you from the group and it will disconnect you from the game and send you back to your hanger instance.

might be an issue with coding when trying to join other peoples instances of their bridges, funny really as its not new coding as HD2 got it right on less budget.,

I get stuck when trying to join my brother's lobby but he then changes me to lobby leader (while i'm stuck on loading screen) and it will finally load and let him join my lobby. very unusual. i tried connecting both pros and epic games but still get stuck trying to load into his lobbies.
