Mouse movements cause stuttering?!?

I have the weirdest bug/issue.
It appears my mouse movements cause stuttering, even in menus. I've tried two different mice, and both just cause massive stuttering lag.

Meanwhile, using my controller seems to work fine....?
I would prefer to use M&K though, and I have no idea why it would do this.
Anyone else having this issue or knows how to fix it?

I managed to bypass it turning off keyswitcher (Mahou, it's like Punto Switcher).
Because after my first mouse issue i force-closed the game and saw EasyAntiCheat popup that Mahou's dll was unconfirmed ("dangerous" for EAC).

Its because the game is a console port. So your mouse movement is registered like it was a controller stick. This can cause processing issues. As has been shown in other ported games.

Had this behavior too (but wanted to play with controller anyway) seems high DPI mice flood the OS with interrupts that then stall out the main or render thread on the CPU so the engine stalls.

I have the same problem with the mouse. Every time I move it my game freeze. I am not planning of using controller so I guess its time for refund...

Yeah it really is a shame. They put the most minimum effort possible for the pc side of the game. Not what I was hoping for today...

I was able to fix my issue by closing a program I use called RBTray, which was causing a false positive with EAC. My suggestion would be to close any programs that use mouse hooks or anything else EAC might be detecting.

Thanks my dude! This was the problem for me. I use a program called Sizer and apparently EAC has a problem with it. Closing it before launching the game has fixed this issue for me.

Update from me, I really got inspired by this discussion. I tried force closing the game when it's running with task manager to see the EAC warning and indeed it pops up "Untrusted system file (C:\Windows\System32\uxtheme.dll)". Then I fixed the stutter problem by simply deleting the file (to be on the safe side, maybe just try putting it to somewhere else so it can be recovered when needed). One may need specific authorization/privilege to move/delete folders under system category but this can be googled easily. Though I have no idea why this system file will cause EAC to false alart.

I use none of the programs mentioned in this thread but I am also getting the mouse lag on a wireless mouse. I also noticed that my bluetooth headphones also get delayed audio, bizarely. Never experienced this in a game before. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I found a solution on my end. It turns out Direct Folder was flagged by the anticheat app this game uses. It seems like EAC does not trust any apps that influence mouse input.
