Mouse movements cause stuttering?!?

I have the weirdest bug/issue.
It appears my mouse movements cause stuttering, even in menus. I've tried two different mice, and both just cause massive stuttering lag.

Meanwhile, using my controller seems to work fine....?
I would prefer to use M&K though, and I have no idea why it would do this.
Anyone else having this issue or knows how to fix it?

really amazes me how much issues are being caused by easy cheat. starship troopers extermination uses the same thing and they dont have anywhere near the vast bunch of issues this does. other than hackers in every other match.

Same problem. In my case the solution was to turn off Stardock ObjectDock. Looks like SM2 is extremely sensitive to everything running in background and listening mouse input

Displayfusion is another program that caused massive frame drops and freezing for me too. Have to exit out of that for the game to run normal.

So I had issues with my mouse like doing 180s, or I would try to aim some where and it would over shoot and if I aimed back it would over shoot again. Was driving me mad, tried everything, even got a new mouse.

Turns out is was "display fusion" trying to wrap my mouse around my monitors from my far left to far right, this game doesnt appear to "capture" your mouse properly, so when the mouse suddenly leaps across 3 monitors the game thinks you did a huge 180 spin, and it explains why it would occur when try to aim left then right then left then right at a certain spot, it was flicking back and forth across monitors.

Disabled that and tada, game works fine now...

Basically turn off anything that effects mouse controls, either the game just has issues with mice tracking or EAC does or something but I guarantee its software that can modify mouse movement in most cases so start there if you are having mouse issues.

It's definetly something to do with EAC, I pirated the game first to see if I liked it and it ran perfectly, now that I bought the game its stuttering awfully with mouse inputs.

I've gone into task manager and closed basically anything that could be interfering but it wont work still.
I don't own a controller either so I'm not sure what to do.

EDIT: I disabled Steel Series Moments, and it seems to work now!
This would be good, if I hadn't already ordered a new controller.

I had the same issue with my razer mouse and FIXED it by lowering the pulling rate from 1000 to 125

So I have the same issue, mouse movement is causing stuttering, however I still have not found the program that is causing this issue.... the force stop does not give me an error with EAC. I do not want to play this game with a controller. BUMP FOR DEV SUPPORT

what apps are safe to use?

as in, I use msi afterburner with rtss, does it cause the EAC stuttering?

same with Logitech G Hub, which I use for custom dpi and keybinds.

it kinda fixed it for me, but still there is a little stutter still. i have logitech mouse.

How do I go about closing direct folders?

It seems to be an issue with the mouse report rate. anything under 4,000 seems to be fine. my friend tried multiple mouses and turned down the report rate on the one he wanted to use, and it fixed the issue for him.

How do I go about closing direct folders?

Look in your windows tray for applications that are running. Direct Folders icon looks like a box with a star in it. Just right click and shut it down
