Controller not working via steam link
Controller is detected and supported in game when connecting Xbox Controller via bluetooth to PC, however no controller is detected and supported when connecting to Apple TV and using Steam Link.

I have tried disabled/enabled steam input

Update: Current best method is to plug a controller in to your host PC (Assuming you have a second controller) before launching steam link through streaming device.

Same issue here. I've tried LITERALLY everything I can think of and it doesn't detect a controller at all, either via Steam Link or Remote Play to a Steam Deck, regardless of steam input being enabled/disabled whatever.

The solution i found was to connect a controller to my pc, disconnect my keyboard and mouse. Then start steamlink on the Tv/device, and use another controller (have to leave the one in the PC plugged in) to launch the game on the Tv/device and i was able to use the controller.

Hmmmm, might give this a go and see if it helps

Tried plugging in a switch controller I had to see if that helped, but no success. Hopefully the devs can fix this on their end.

Big bump to this thread. I play on a laptop and cant disconnect my keyboard (why should I have to disconnect peripherals in 2024?) and the keyboard controls are ****** ****. I use a steam deck as a controller, linked to my PC for control for other 3rdP games like Elden Ring. Really disappointing that I'm forced into using terrible control scheme when the game apparently supports controllers.

If this was JUST a shooter, id be fine with mouse and keyboard, but the Melee and duelling mechanics means joysticks separate from melee buttons is a must.

Same. DualSense controller only works on PC if I unplug everything else and start the game with Steam Input Disabled on the controller profile. When I try to stream it to my TV using Steam Link or a docked Steam Deck, neither work no matter what I do to get it to think my connected streaming DualSense is the only controller. Hopefully it gets resolved cause I want to play this by streaming to my TV or Steam Deck since my PC is more powerful and it'll play and look better, like I can do with nearly any other game. I don't want to sit at my desk playing on a monitor. I'd prefer streamed to a big TV, or a nice handheld feel on Deck.

Anyone find a fix to this yet?

If you can, connect your controller to your PC running the game instead of the steam link device you use to stream.

Obviously this isn't ideal if the TV you're streaming to is to far for bluetooth connection, but it's a workaround.

Yeah unfortunately pc is in the office. I was trying to play on my tv in the room across the house haha. Every other game works just fine. This the first one I’ve ever had this issue.

This would explain why it wasn't picking up any Steam Deck input. Hope this gets fixed soon. I can't be hecked sitting at my desk longer than I need to.

Same problem with the Steam Deck, here. This game is a great candidate for remote play, I hope they make it work.

Here's a link to the issue on their bug tracker. It could help if people upvote it (and add any relevant data). It's a little annoying, because you have to register, but maybe worth it!
