Ultra laggy even offline

It's super laggy. I don't mean stutters or framedrops, I mean the nids are sliding across the floor and I'm reloading 4 times in. Row to get it to work kind of lag.

I've tried turning quality down just to test and it's still laggy
I even disconnected my wifi to play in offline mode and it's still laggy. Anyone else?

This is happening to me too, ive updated everything, i meet minimum requirements, ive forwarded ports, i have 96 down and 24 up on my internet speed. Lower graphics has done nothing, going offline still shows a red signal bar and lags like crazy. I've even tried running the dev build and it runs flawlessly.

Try downgrading [or upgrading—just change them in any way] your graphics card drivers to a different version. I've had similar issues with this game and I've went from unplayable framerates to a completely stable 60 in most areas after doing so. 9 out of 10 times when a game is just mysteriously running horribly and stuttery, it's your drivers.

In the past, I had Battlefield 1 be completely unplayable and figured it was my system [only had a 1050 ti at the time], but ended up swapping my drivers and was able to run the game flawlessly at nearly ultra settings. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

i was playing it fine at 1 in the morning was running great and then logged off and now is being really laggy i even dropped alot of settings down and its still really laggy is it the game or my PC? and i do meet the requirements help please.

I've been having the red bar connection issue since launch yesterday. It reconnects at some moments during the first mission but it does not stay connected for long. Unplayable in this state as the client/server are not in sync and the game is broken. Not sure what the solution is. I've tried resetting my windows firewall settings and network adapters. No connection issues with other games, so I'm thinking it's on Saber's end.

above 80FPS all time locked at 90, no issues... No connection issues with 1.2gb/sec internet.

I fixed it in the most confusing way that makes no sense, limit the fps to 30 and crank all of the graphic settings as high as possible and turn v sync on. You can actually see guys move and parry, but it still gets a little wonky when the map fills up with enemies, hope that helps.

OH and the biggest thing, it makes it so you can join friends now.

yeah i have gotten game quality a lot better with it, but without a real person on your team it seems like the game stutters way more. I did a whole successful op with it only lagging a few times with high volumes of enemies, but was thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately it seems I haven't been able to replicate the results as good as the first time. I feel like this is more evidence of it being server side.

I have what I would consider to be overkill specs. the game runs how I would expect no matter the setting then will start stuttering horribly 2 mins in ( even on the lowest settings this will still happen ) ive updated all drives re-installed on my primary Hard drive ( 1tb ssd for my C: and a 2tb for my backup drive )

( i havent gotten the red warning in the top right unless i leave the window open a while or something )

Edit: issue was thermal throttling anyone on Alienware tech they do have `Alienware command center` which allows you to control the fan curve and overclocking profiles my PC sounds like a plane now but also was a good help!

Don't know if you solved it but limiting the fps to 30 did the trick for me, at least till they fix it
