Crossplay not working

Trying to do crossplay from pc with friend on console. Stuck on load regardless of who joins who. Anyone else?

Yeah having the same issue here, trying to connect with friend playing on PS5 and it's not working, just stuck on the loading screen for joining the server

Hi, this issue happens if trying to join when still on the battleship. Enter the first mission and once the cut scene has finished, your friend can join without issue. (Had same issue and this was the solution.)

I thought this could be the case too, but entered first mission to do this but still no luck. Stuck on same load :/

Yeah, same for me. We tried before mission, during, nothing seemed to work. My fellow PC player encountered another issue, aside from crossplay, of not seeing character assets in game. It was hit or miss when it did it.

I have YET to get my buddy to join me in the Campaign or me joining him in the Campaign. There was a web page that specified there were ports you could forward. We've done that (both ways) - did not work. Theres posts that specify using a VPN is a workaround - All versions of me and my buddy - did not work (meaning we both had VPN on, Only me and not him and finally Only him and not me). We've tried to join while in mission - did not work. We've tried in Operations (and if it worked then going back to campaign) - the first step of joining in Operations - did not work. We have both turned off the windows firewall - did not work. In EVERY case - we saw the other person in the squad menu (top right part of the screen) show they were in the squad - but in EVERY case - we are stuck (and the game freezes) at joining server (whoever is joining). The ONLY conclusion we have is that (much like HD2 - in the beginning) - they simply did not size appropriately and ONLY streamers seem to be connecting with ANY regularity with each other...

It seems to work for me now luckily. Elsewise ive read someone say for the host to try switching gamemode and switch back to the campaign mission, then it supposedly worked for them with the same loading issue
