EOS Log in error

when i start up the game i get this eos error message saying that Epic online services missing in local files and to verify integrity of game files on steam but i have done that with no change still gives the same error message.

You don't need to remove Epic services. Just check steam files and during next launch they will reinstall automatically

I figured out, after running CertInstaller.bat and CertsUpdater.exe didn't fix it, just running EpicOnlineServicesInstaller.exe fixed my issue completely.
Because apparently the game never installed the service in the first place.

This worked for me, thanks. I think I clicked the wrong installer in my files the first time

Just a note but if you aren't using Epic at all for anything you don't need it. Can just uninstall and continue on once the error pops up.

Спасибо! Совет помог! Установил сервис => установил сертификат => обновил его, потом запустил игру и при запуске EOS сразу начал обновляться. (До этого такого окна вообще небыло)

I had to go into the services app in Windows (hit start and search for services), and find Easy Anti-Cheat (Epic Online Services), EasyAntiCheat, and Epic Online Services.

For some reason they had their startup type set to Manual, I had to right click them, click Properties, and change startup type to Automatic.

That fixed it for me.

I had the same problem, here's how I fixed it this morning:

From Steam, right-click on "Warhammer 40:000: Space Marine 2" and select "Manage" > "Browse Local Files"

Once there, you'll see your Space Marine 2 installation folder. From there, navigate to client_pc > root > bin > pc > EpicOnlineServices (.\client_pc\root\bin\pc\EpicOnlineServices)

In that folder is an executable file called "EpicOnlineServicesInstaller.exe". Run it.

I additionally ran certsinstaller.bat then certsupdater

Launch your game as normal, and EOS will go through an update cycle, when finished, it launches the game without the error.
