It works for me perfectly with dualsense features and button prompts. go to the steam game page, click the settings gear, go to properties, then controller than disable steam input. it needs to run natively in game and it also needs to be plugged in.

edit: if that isn't working maybe you need a driver for the controller??

Done that, still nothing.

Where did you get the driver?

it was a long time ago, but I believe it was this.

I tried disconnecting other input devices like keyboard, mouse on 'Wuthering Waves'. My controllers didn't work with this game. (Most games work with my controllers though. Except MW III. This gave me a headache.) My keyboard is Razer, I disconnected the keyboard and connected another keyboard and it is a bluetooth keyboard. And it worked. So I could play the game with a controller and a keyboard at the same time.
Try disconnecting other input devices except your controller.

You can turn the steam input off in two places, in the general steam settings AND in the settings for the game (right click the game in your library > properties > controllers STEAM INPUT OFF) if you turn it off in both places your controller should work. It did for me.

Yup turned off Steam input for xbox controller and that fixed it straight away.

tried all the above options, tried multiple controllers, xbox, playstation and generic pc controller, none worked. I have literally never had this problem for any other game. this is why people prefer consoles I swear.

Same doing the above options doesn't work, developers seemed to have not key mapped the controllers for pc correctly or something else that wasn't checked
