The duplicate classes thing is also annoying. You can't talk to people and if both don't want to change, you're stuck. You should be able to first select your class and then matchmaking just matches a fitting group. Pretty stupid how it currently is.
And yes, the missions are bland and repetitive. If you look at the roadmap, it won't change so quickly. Can't hold a candle to similar games, unless you really really want to play as a Space Marine (the game isn't bad per se).
Oh, and not being able to play on a paid early release is not acceptable.
But it is day one. Hopefully they flesh it out quickly because right now it feels like a last minute tack on that got very little development time. Which is odd being that the campaign maxes out at around six hours.
I have noticed that I have issues joining other people cross-platform..including my buddy on xbox, but my buddy on xbox, and his brother on xbox, had no issues. Only had issues when joining me on PC
You can talk to people though, both with voice coms and chat. Press O to chat and Z to use voice com.
This seems to be an issue with some people's games but not others.
