Is it a big deal? No. But wtf. Like, how hard is it to simply put some pngs in the game? Just make it a simple switch in the settings.

on the game in library click the controller on the right side and turn off steam input and let the game do raw input. also for ps5 controller try plugging it in

Couldn't agree more, the controller works perfectly fine out of the box, but the wrong button symbols are annoying. I'm hoping for a mod atm, but it's questionable. A simple switch in the Interface settings would've been very nice.
