*Temp Fix* Not Launching

Right now Epic is being dumb it seems. If you can not get the game to launch from steam then first launch the game as you would normally then go task manager and end "Epic Online Services User Helper" . Your game should launch right up. This seems like there needs to be a hotfix for this but this seems like it is the only way to get the game launched so far for me at least. I am not playing right now as once I was able to launch my cpu and gpu temp sky rocketed to 80-90 degrees. I have an AIO cooler for my cpu and Ive never seen it go that high so i will wait for some updates for the game.

Steam says the application has launched but I have no window for it.

UPDATE:

-reinstalling the game
-restarting steam
-restarting PC
-trying to run the game in offline mode
-Launching game from game folder
-opening Easy Anti cheat installer in folder
-checking all my drivers
-making sure steam was linked to epic
-making sure firewall and anti virus were off
-installed 2 files pinned by dev

None of these have worked for me

UPDATE 2 :
went for a hail mary and tried doing an old trick
- "-window" in launch properties

still did not work. Might just have to wait for a hotfix. Have no clue what else i could do. If anyone else has any more idea I would appreciate it.

Still steam launches the game and task manager shows that it is running in the background but I am not getting a window of it actually running as it suppose to be.

The literal solution is to log out of Steam and log back in, that will fix it.

In the comment above yours , I gave a list of everything I have done. That was the second thing I listed. so the literal solution doesnt seem to work yet. Ohhh i also forgot to add

-Installed 2 files from pinned post by dev.

I had this issue, I solved it by launching the game and when its running, opening task manager and ending the "Epic Online Services User Helper". Game should launch and you will get an error ingame about it missing some files, but close the error and it will still run fine, Managed to play 3 hours of coop without a problem

I launched the game as I would normally then went to task manager and ended "Epic Online Services User Helper" . Game is running super hot though so they have some fixing to do. No other game has made my temps rise so high like this game has.

None of these have helped me, including ending EOSUH in the task manager.

Did this and I was only able to play offline mode
