Getting around 90c.

Looks like this game is boosting the processor from 4.5GHZ to over 5.5GHZ constantly for some reason (other games boost to around 4.7 - 4.8). Undervolting -30 and setting the throttle temp to 85 helped a bit, but it's still an issue.

At least the devs admitted in their latest post that they're working on the overheating issue and basically told all the "BUT MIII PC IS F1N3 U N33D BETA PC" to stfu

I had this same problem in helldivers using the nvidia drivers from july/august. Its a graphic driver issue where I had to reinstall the driver before launching the game every time. I dont have that issue with the September drivers 560.94. Give that a try.

Same and my Bios is fully up to date. Ryzen 5 3600 and hitting 90 easy.

Yes high cpu temps 85 to 90 on a 10900k with 360mm cooler what is wrong with this heater game

RTX 4090 14900K (latest BIOS) have no business running this hot. Every other game has 70 degrees max. This one stays at close to 90 degrees even in the start screen. Waited a couple of minutes to see if it was compiling shaders, but nope. It just stays there.

Max FPS decrease does not do anything. Changing settings does not do anything.

I definitely won't fry my CPU over Warhammer. Guess it's going to be a refund, cause clearly there are some performance issues.

Does it still do it if you disable hyperthreading? I think its just generating a lot of threads for the compiler in yhe backgoung, which is why it goes away after a while.

Refund is the way, just had mine processed. If they fix the issue I'll take a look again in the future.

yeah these temps are dumb, 13900k barely reach 55c in most games even cyberpunk. this one is like 75-85c something is wrong.

Yeah. In the same boat here.... Really don't want to refund as I've been waiting years for this game, but I'm not finding too many solutions and really don't want to risk trying to play at those 90+ degree temps.

4090 /w 13900k (Updated BIOS ect), constantly jumping between 80-95c sometimes even 100.
GPU hitting a max of 60.
CPU never reached this high before, definitely something off here.

Settings set to low: 0 impact, FPS set as low as 15: 0 impact, all drivers updated. RTX4080 and R7 5800x cpu. This game has some serious issues with its engine and potential background processes. CPU continously at minimum 71°c up to 77°c. GPU usually running at most 43°c continously at 55-62°c

89-91 C here with an AMD x5950 - not overclocked. Very high compared to other games - GPU temps are fine (54 C)

Same Issues i9-13900KF - 60 - 70% Usage, 90 - 100C temps. Fully updated BIOS due to the Microcode issue. Dont feel right with me playing the game with so high temps.

Can easily play Black Myth Wukong highest settings and go around 60 - 70C temps and 80 - 90% load

GPU temps are like 60 - 4090 RTX
