FPS capped to 60 and it still heats up the CPU, lowered down several graphics settings (as I do not assumed to run it on high anyway). I don't know with which instruction set they compiled this game, but this is one of the few and rare one, that I consider try to actively destroy your hardware due to u unnecessary power consumption. This is not related to the Intel issue one may have been reading about in the last weeks (my CPU is from the generation before, but mind, I can run other games from the same release time just fine).
Keep in mind, if you see differences between people in this thread, ambient temp plays a huge role. If you ambient room temp is 20 and theirs it 30, there will be a ~10 degree difference in your CPU temp too....
But yes, this game is ALMOST akin to rendering. It is actually insane. They should probably have some sort of CPU useage cap or something.
I almost guarantee this game is going to cause PS5 problems for those who have dusty old PS5s.
''They really like to run hot. If you are getting in the 90 degree range for normal use that is perfectly fine. Intel has public said that you can run these chips at 100 degrees constantly and it will not damage them. Seem the actual limit is something like 130''
tho crazy high
NOCTUA NHU 12A Chromax Black here, not a problem, never been until now with this game and this game alone. I mean read this tread, I am far from being the only one and most people complaining about this do have pretty good PC's, so no.
