Can't boot the game on Linux

I'm on Xubuntu and set the game to force compatibility mode, it will go to the beginning Focus Interactive/epilepsy warning screens but crashes beyond that. I switched off Proton-Experimental to the stable release proton 9.0.2, but no dice. Anyone got any ideas?

I also tried with popOS 22.04, and got to the "Space marine 2" window before it crashed. The uninstall process also seems to be eating up all of my RAM and swap at the moment.

you're trying to launch it on valve's happy meal toy or legit PC? if you've got anti virus disable it, that's the issue on PC's

First I had a graphic problem. I cap the FPS at 120. Now it's ok until the end of the first cinematic when I launch a game, then i get : "Game connection problem // You have failed to connect to the game".

Yeah, gettings the same "Game Connection problem". Tried Experimental and Proton-GE. Also cannot skip the cut scene, it just keeps going with a "Loading" in the bottom right and when the cutscene is finished it's just top black and bottom white screen until I force quit it. On arch btw.

I am unable to get it to load at all, it just crashes on start up each time. Using Kubuntu here

idk, i avoid stuff like that AMD GPU's so I don't have to deal with the headaches

I see from this thread that its worth waiting until Linux compatibility is fixed. Hopefully someone here figures it out or valve will patch it.

Yeah currently crashing when i get to the main menu and hit the enter button.

Cant even get into the main menu. Its crashing, after it shows the Focus Entertainment Logo. Manjaro (Wayland) Proton Exp./GE-Proton-9.13

Bazzite. Tried Proton Exp. and GE-Proton-9.11., 12 and 13. Plasma (Wayland). Nvidia 560.35.03. Also have the connection problem in the first cutscene.
