Sorry, I was going to buy one or the other because they both fulfill 3rd person action fantasy games. A genre that I like. For me it's like, comparison C&C to Warcraft, same game genre just different worldbuilding.
Mechanics should be the same, like lock on, camera pov, etc.
Like Armored Core is Sci-Fi but scratches the same itch. Sometimes I play it instead of Elden Ring if I want a more linear feel. But, I take your point Armored Core is a better comparison to 40k.
I think comparing Space Marine 2 to God of War, etc would be valid, but I get the themes are different.
Yes. Sure do.
Why? are you incapable of thinking for your self?
Yep, that's it.
NPC behavior
wukong's not a bad game by any measure, it at least clears okay, but i bought it when i wasn't looking for a soulsgame, so i put it down about halfway through. i'll be glad to return to it though
i guess i hope you enjoy sm2?
Fingers crossed, but I think I will. I am very into 40k and Darktide, which was done very well, has no marines (at least I didn't see any I could play as).
Say what you want, but I love Destiny 2.
It's not my child though so feel free to hate on my hours spent.
I was also a late comer to the series, starting maybe 2 years ago, and there was already a lot of hate posted. I got it anyway and all of the DLC to date, I am by no means a good player at it either.
All that being said, it's because I like Destiny 2, not in spite of it, that I will probably like Space Marine 2. Titan's are space marines and we have power weapons and glaives.
Destiny 2 has my endorsement as the best mmo between 2022 to present.
