Female Space Marines cannot exist because of the fact of how marines are made. To make it simple: The emperor used his own genetic material to create the custodes and primarchs. Then he used the mutated gene seed from the primarchs to mutate humans into space marines through genetic therapy and surgery. The only female "Space Marines" would be the Sisters of Battle.
