Not Knowing What Edition I Have?
My brother pre-ordered the Gold Edition for both himself and me but nowhere did it specify what edition we got? Not in the gift pop-up, not in my library, not on the store page. Is there any way to check what edition I have or do I have to wait until 12pm EST to see if steam will verify the edition and give me the download option?

click help in the top left, steam support and type space marine 2. It'll show up and you'll figure it out

In your liberty click on the game then go to support it should tell you the edition you have there.
