Either way the majority of of playtime with be in the re-playable co-op and PvP experiences.
There also is tons of replayability with operations and PvP.
Spring of next year.
On top of that you have 6 coop instances that might take you around 20-30 minutes each so 2-3 hours extra from those.
You also have pvp modes and depending on how good those are, they might bring a lot of value to the table.
Now, if you want to level up every class and weapon, this is where the grind starts. Not sure how long it would actually take to level up everything but its a safe bet to think about it in hundreds of hours.
PvE Operation content take about 30 mins on average, and if you do all of the operations and/or PvP Eternal War to unlock every armor piece, that will be a little over 100 hours if you do the math. (this is because you need a certain number of VICTORIES in Operations mode or PvP to unlock armor sets)
So id say if you plan on getting everything in the game then its a little over 100 hours
If I wanted to play a competitive shooter, I'd play cs.
Looks like they're pushing live service aspect hard these days. Big 40k fan since 3rd edition, but I'll give this game a pass.
Not to mention the pve missions have different classes to try out and adds to that timer and not part of the campaign people are talking about.
It would be like saying a normal mmo has no offline single player content for you to enjoy and you judge it on that.
