I believe this feedback has been highly provided to the devs on the SM2 discord, but it is a bit of a let down that Chaos classes are made as specific warbands, where we can't even select a generic marine template instead. Hopefully this can be changed in the future, but won't be there for release.
Nope. Dev said that they want to preserve the unique Silhouettes of the PVP Chaos bands, which is why it makes it very hard for them to do cosmetics for Chaos in PVP.
Because a lot of players actually wouldn't want their immersion broken like that. There been enough threads complaining about people wearing Black Legion Decals on their Shoulderpads.
The Dev said they would consider a Chaos version of Ops, eventually, but they also said that if they'd do another "faction" for Ops it would be the Sororitas first, as they were cut from the game due to budget reasons.
You can find the CEO's statements about that on X-the sewage app from around the time of the game release.
Getting more factions to shoot at in operations is another thing I would like to see.
