An interesting... and worrying review.
Force Gaming released a good review of Space Marine 2. And it talks about the content of the game that might worry a lot of people.

He finished the game (campaign) in less than 6 hours...

And he didn't rush it or anything. Anyway, I was a little disappointed with this lack of content. But we'll see tomorrow. I bought the Gold edition.

10 € per houre. Fair price.

NOT

Gaming is becoming like Netflix shows, instead of getting blockbuster movies (games) we get bland mediocre "TV/Streaming" shows (games).

And the producers/game developers know it dont matter because the audience buys everything anyway.

Yes the length is a big issue, I just hope they'll release more content down the line. Grinding for skins isn't content.

campaign is only 1 part of the game. there is a extraction coop shooter mode similar to that of darktide. this will keep people busy for 100's of hours

These games are for multiplayer where most of the content will be and not campaigns that are usually short for these games.

6 missions. So not like dark tide. Either way, you will get what you can out of it. Short campaign, repeititous missions, unlockable content and PvP. It's so much like the first game it's kind of comical.

he also very clearly makes the point that the PvE mode is what the focus of the game is on but you chose to ignore that part so you could cry.

Well he also said that he saw everything for the PvE mode in 3 hours so he just went ahead with rigor mortis to unlock stuff...which isn't great for me at least.

Depends on how you play and what difficulty. Iam at chapter two and played one side mission. Iam around 7 hours playtime and i play on the second highest diff

That's already better. I mean those people rush games to get out a review so even if they say they aren't rushing it I don't really believe them anyways.

Releasing a video with that claim sure got him some views.

even then there are just 6 missions, don't justly just that even if "Multiplayer is the focus".

Esp not for 80$ (regional pricing.)

Is hours played really the primary measurement now?
Wouldnt you rather want 6-8 hours of high intensity quality than 15 hours of alot of obvious time-wasting mechanics?
- I've felt that with quite a few games and with my work hours I'd much rather wan't something playable with high intensity..

Thats why most gameplay from journalists ... sucks. They rush through to meet their deadlines. Its a game of who can rush out the video fastest and get those $$$.

The only review I have seen that I trust is from ACG. In his, not a single mention about length of campaign, probably because its arbitrary. You go at the pace thats comfortable to you, at the difficulty your comfy with, etc.
