Family sharing removed?
Up until yesterday, the game claimed to support family sharing. Now, just a day before the soft launch, they’ve removed this feature?! easy refund.

EDIT: its been added back as of 09/09/2024

I don't think thats what the poster is referring to, moreso being able to share it between family members.

Very disappointed to read this. I purchased the game for myself, but now my son can't play it when I'm not. I agree the whole point of this was that multiple people in your household don't have to purchase the same game. Family sharing on other platforms like Xbox doesn't have this issue. Now I have to purchase another copy of the game so my son can play it.

I love how we have dummies telling us how family sharing works when we're the ones trying to figure out why the companies are changing the family sharing 3 days before release

family sharing allows players to play the same game any time as long as they are not playing at the same time. no need to purchase multiple copies if the family intend to play the game indiviually and not at the same time

hoping they only removed it for the early access and it isn't a permanent choice

Yes it is the way they operate, but it was implimented in march, so family share was on, but the devs/company did manually turned it off yesterday.

Yeah this is pretty ♥♥♥♥, the list from my 2000 games is very small that doesn't work with family share, primarily Ubisoft and EA ones that require a 3rd party launcher, but this one sticks out like a sore thumb.
