It comes from insecurity, they had no father figures nor any masculine guidance, they don't understand their own bodies and minds. This bothers them deeply and many give in to delusion to cope. When actual masculinity appears and the beta's delusion is broken, they become offended and afraid, this is why they lash out in threads like this one.

Yeah, it's why the female custodes rubbed me the wrong way. I'm all for inclusion of female characters and all that jazz, although not when it breaks established lore since the whole reason the female custodes exists is to pander to the left-wing extremists who believe that everyone and everything needs representation when sometimes things just aren't that simple. We'll see what happens in the future though.
