Pre-order unlock timer isn't reflecting early unlock?

Am I crazy or not, I pre-ordered the ultra edition and am supposed to get 4 days early unlock. Yet my countdown timer is still September 9th, it should be September 5th due to the pre-order early unlock no?

Yes, but Steam doesn't work like that.

So just wait it out, Steam will check your entitlement level at 5PM BST tomorrow and will grant you access then.

There is NOT a pre-download.

Gutted having bought gold version. How stupid you can't pre download it like you can on consoles FFS. Only allowing us to download it at 1700 on the 5th is pretty ridiculous as depending on peoples speeds they may not be playing until Friday. Even if you have good speed and everyone starts downloading it then - the servers will be battered.

There are 3 "ADD to CART" buttons on the Space Marine 2 page. One for each edition of the game. The date and time remaining for early access to start in the case of those who purchased the Ultra Edition, for example, will be right above the Ultra Edition purchase button.

Yeah, kinda ass no pre-download when the game is offering early access, gonna be fun downloading this all day at 25mb/s cause boonies internet is ass, super smart idea.

Same thing happened to me with Black myth Wukong. Just the direction the industry is going it seems, it predownloaded some but essentially had to redownload the entire file pack for what i suspect is validation.
