So hype but why is it only 3 player lobbies
Why are so many games going to a 3 player system. Its so dumb and constricting on play time with friends. Devs can easily go trough and scale mission difficulty based on team size. Hell divers got it right space marines step it up and increase lobby size.

Original Space Marine game had three Marine squad campaign. CooP is probably that way, because thats how playing against AI tyranids was balanced. VS is 6v6 though.
Also leading group of SM (captain and his lackeys) is usually three Marines.

My old space marine group is already trying to decide which friend we all like the least. . . man I hope it's not me. : /

I wonder if horde mode will allow for 4 players?

Devs had 4 player but was too easy with 4, space marines are OP so it was a balance thing.

You can always balance for more players. Give the Tyanids more life and make em deal more damage in 4 player lobbies. . . or just spawn more Tyranids. . . It's too bad that the ops are also limited to 3 players. : /

Tell the devs, they said they tried it but it didnt work.

Helldivers didn't get crap right. That game was screwed from day 1 and it's still screwed. It was a complete waste of money. Plus it was a 40k rip AND Starship Trooper rip-off.

Imagine if you have to choose between your friends. Looks to me like they are creating issues that they can sell solutions to in a later dlc.

no matter what number they pick for the amount of players someone will always be missing out, my friend group is like 3-8 players. For space marine we have like 5. So even with 4 players someone would be missing out. Catering to one group, leaves out another. They cant please everyone, and they will ruin the game if they try to please everyone. Split your group into 2 separate lobbies.

Mine is 1, so I am negative 2!!! How dare they, now I have to buy 3 copies and play with both hands and my feet!

Trouble with that is, this game has progression. So people would then complain that its easier to progress and get more gear/upgrades with a 3 man team than solo and then you have a different complaint to deal with. Gotta pick your battles.

no it would not be cool, then the game would be an unbalanced mess and the player groups who didnt have 12 friends would be getting the shaft from nerfs to hinder the 12 players
