Is Warhammer 40k LGBTQ friendly?

Hey all. really looking forward to this but had a quick question

I'm not trying to start an argument about the lore or anything. I'm just curious if there are any of such characters represented in 40k, and would they be in this game? (That would be a bonus)

But it has happens in the past. I think i remember several story of exterminated planets by an inquisitor or a lord of some-kind that destroyed a planets on mere suspicions. Those kind a things can happen in a world where few people hold too much power.

LGBT would not work or exist in warhammer 40ks universe,
For many reasons it wouldn't work at all because humanity needs high numbers because humans die in the billions
The society would be conditioned to grow familys for the imperium and u don't keep familys alot end up as orphans its grim dark only thing is war and humanity is geared toward fuelling that war so you can not expect it to be inclusive.
Humanity its self kills every other alien race so lol its really not a place for it.
The Necrons would look at the LGBT people as if they are animals
Orcs would think they are stupid or weird
The Aeldari on one hand maybe, different but not guaranteed and the Drukhari yep but they are sadistic.
Chaos would kill u but slaanesh would like you >.< thats not what you want.
Now the Tau not sure hard to say if they would accept any or not.

Its not a universe where anyone is focused on anything but surviving.

Bottom line is people need to learn not every space will accept you some are just not designed for you, and that is not a bad thing everyone has there own hobbys and things if you enter one you have to learn how it works and don't try to bring your ideals into a space that doesn't have them. you will be hated doing that. hence why there is so much push back against the LGBT more the T than the LGB.

The Imperium of Man at large doesn't discriminate based on skin color, sexual orientation, or gender, as they say "The Emperor loves all of Mankind". It's in the imperial creed that only the mutant, the heretic (this isn't a sex thing, so stop it), and the witch are abhorrent. The Imperium is xenophobic but they do not care about what you so clearly obsess over 24/7. Also, they are meant to be satirical of real life politics and evil in how much they don't care about the individual. Why would they care who someone loves, as long as they served the emperor (and died in the endless meatgrinder of 40k).

And your excuse that it's "recent authors" is absurd. The entire IP was started by a bunch of lefties making fun of right wingers, there's LGBTQ+ representation going back 20 years in the Ciaphas Cain series (spoiler, no one cares what sexuality people are in the year 40k), and the Dark Angels & their Primarch are named after a poem about a man's gay lover (Dark Angel), and the poet is named Lionel Johnson.

And even if such things were common place in the grim dark setting of 40k, Games Workshop has made it clear multiple times that bigots and racists aren't welcome in the hobby, so please take the hint.

Its really, really rare for it to be done. And if it's done over mere suspicion then the Inquisitor is severely punished. Hell, the Inquisitor that blew up a bunch of planets to stop Tyranids, I think Kryptman? Was also punished for it
