Is Warhammer 40k LGBTQ friendly?

Hey all. really looking forward to this but had a quick question

I'm not trying to start an argument about the lore or anything. I'm just curious if there are any of such characters represented in 40k, and would they be in this game? (That would be a bonus)

Within the lore? It is. People of different sexual orientations and gender identities exist and are not persecuted for those details.

Within the community? Lots of hate. This fandom unfortunately attracts a lot of crypto-fascists and neo-nazi types; which is a shame because the lore is amazing.

Thing if we go deep into why Slaanesh is the way it is, and why she is the reason the imperium would not be pro-gay like Moonknight believes most of us would get banned. I am really shivering about what i am already saying. Any talk against LGBTQ on the steam forum is a quick way to get yourself banned. That pretty much proof LGBTQ community is part of the man.

Pretty much. Slaanesh is the god of excess, including unhealthy and abusive sexuality. By drawing a connection to Slaanesh they're basically saying anyone in the LGBT is equivalent to a daemon or chaos cultist. It's literally just saying being LGBT is literally evil.

That's a lot of projection lol Slaanesh exists because Dark Aeldari had a murderous sex cult in a hidden pocket of the Webway and the collection of psychic energy gave birth to it over many years of Cenobite-esque horror.

Trying to equate that to gay people existing and wanting to get married is ludicrous and is just a statement on your personal prejudice. W40k has already had openly gay characters and the lore has never treated them as anything but just...normal people (relative to the W40k universe). Maybe stop pointing to the lore and just own yourself. Just say that you hate gay people openly instead of being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coward.

If you are so bothered about same sex relationships, then start begging for the Sisters of Silence to be put in the game, they tend to become lesbians as noone can stand to be around them. As for the Astartes, they tend to lose their sex drive during the transistion and only load they are conerned about shooting into people is from their bolter.
