Will advanced access have a preload ?

Will we get a preload tomorrow ahead of the advanced release or will the download only be available once the advanced access goes live ?

It will really screw over those with slow download rates to the point they might not be even be able to play on the release date. Thankfully I have 1gbs speed so it will take like 10 mins or so

Yeah no Preload sucks. I won't be super affected but high speed internet is the exception rather than the rule. I really wish preloading was more common.

Same here. Won't take long for 75GB to download but still, a preload would have been appreciated...

I am confused by this article. So you can't even play on PC with the 99 € version on 5th september? But there is a massive banner advertising this on steam O.o. Otherwise it would be false advertising.

With the Gold and Ultimate Editions you can play it on the 5th, but you cannot preload it on pc. You can only download when it unlocks.

Not false advertising, your ISP has nothing to do with the game. The game can release but if your download speed is bad then that's just life. Nothing to do with the game developer or steam. They just saying some people might have to download it across multiple days etc

Whatever time it becomes available in your region you can start downloading, but not before that point. It's a normal release where you download the game at the time specified according to a number of people.

It's 5pm uk time on the 5th. That's the only time I need to remember. But lucky me. Have to take my new puppy german shepherd to puppy classes at 5... lol.

@vamperian so even if you bought the gold edition if there is no preload on steam you cant play the game on the 5th eventhough you bought the early access version????

Assuming you have fast internet and can DL the game on the 5th then you can play on the 5th....SMH

Fortunately I live in an area with fantastic internet, so the download will likely be done within minutes unless Steam is overloaded. But I used to live in an area where something like 75 GB would take ages and feel for those who are currently living like that.
