I wonder how many Chinese will buy this game.
China is such a big market for video games as Wukong showed, so I kinda expect similar amount of Chinese buying this game as well (similar type of game).

And it's not like Chinese would be biased to only buy their own games right?

Of course chinese are heavily biased towards their own games, despite being officially communist, they are very nationalist

SM2 will not sell aswell over there as Wukong, i can guarantee you that, Warhammer as a brand isn't even very well known or popular amongst chinese, but that might change somewhere in the future if GW continues to grow as a company

Actually they know about it due to Total War: Warhammer 3 the Cathay faction made it one of the best selling games in China.

So they might have eyes on this but maybe not since their's no Chinese faction tie in.

Any mention of another hot topic country/nation is an attempt at being racist/nationalist I guess..

I could talk about something for France but if I chose to talk about France during their terrorism bombings I would be put on the cross and let out to dry.

Its the timing if anything and for the last 100+ years China is a crap topic to bring up even if you are being generalist on a subject involving them.

Same involves race. But if I go deep into why, I'll get banned just for the hell of it cause that's the world we live in today. Words are more of a threat than bullets or fists.

China has baned a lot of predatory cash shop stuff so chances is that alone will be a big hit. And wu kong doing well is cause its one of their bigest myths obviously they going to buy it thats not even a competition.

Hasn't China censored skeletons and skulls in games? I know it happened with WoW. Dunno if the rule is still in effect. Would be tricky for 40k

They didn't ban it they curbed it and it didn't work they lost billions in tax revenue and reversed course on it.

They definitely didn't get rid of it you can look at Arena Breakout Infinite here on steam for an example or any other numerous Chinese games currently in development like Delta Force. They all have predatory cash shops. Hell ABI (Arena Breakout Infinite) has AI designed into the game to manipulate players into spending more.

They have the most advanced AI systems being designed to get more money out of people. They are the cutting edge of it.

A weirdly targeted question to ask. I suppose to stay on same mindset, should we inquire how many russians will buy it? I don't want any of them driving the Land Raider, for obvious reasons.

Knowing how hard Wukong is compared to those cake mobile games they crank out in china it will prob take them till xmas to beat.

One great video online is a chinese guy struggling on the opening boss for hours and his wife asking is this the final boss and he just dies inside. China is good at mobile games, not manly game like this that made souls vets crying because they couldnt do their rune farm cheese or get blasphemous blade to save them
