Does the statement in the devblog mean I can't crossplay pvp at all with my buddy on xbox from my pc?

We've been chatting about how much fun it will be to play together for months since the initial crossplay anouncement.

Please allow for a 'mixed lobbies' box to tick in matchmaking for PVP games if so.

all games lately with cross play run like ♥♥♥♥. Terrible . So much effort into milking that kills games.

Crossplay for the campaign and the PVE mode. Not for PVP - presumably for balance reasons.

I can’t remember where it was but I remember there was a poll being done by Focus about if people were willing to put up with the balance issues if it meant they could play cross-platform with friends so if you look for that I’d make your voice heard that way.

Yeah, you can't pvp with your friends. It messes with the group I have also.

Which is weird since it's Space Marine, not exactly the most competitive game at all.

Unfortunately no pvp cross play, they could just add the option to turn it off and have an option for input based matchmaking as well but i guess thats too much work...

Yeah this is what I was thrown by, as if space marine is silly fun and not a hyper competitive shooter.. I wish they'd reneg on this and allow mixed lobbies. Now I can't play outside of campaign with my mate which not gonna lie is making me waiting to purchase until a discount.

sry for caps but yeah, they don't want PC hackers making console babies cry so just PVE and campaign only.

of course they run like ♥♥♥♥ not enough servers to handle the load because the publisher/devs is cheap and wont buy them

also the first game used the most ♥♥♥♥ system ever invented to handle online aka peer to peer hope there not using that garbage again.
