Official : No modding support

Huge bummer in my opinion, I was looking forward to modding but again, Focus never allow their players to mod their games.

Will the game have official mod support (e.g., NexusMods, mod.io)?
➡️ We currently have no plans for official mod support.

None of their games had mod support. So don’t get your hopes up mate.

Edit : and the sentence is “no plan” meaning they don’t want to go to that direction.

Man, I never said I hope we have mods or anything I just said "Currently" that can have multiple lines of thought

Edit: Not necessarily because they literally opened a comunity website to see players feedback so IF and only IF comunity wants to they can think of and in that statement they never said they are against mods at all so mods still can exist but with a certain risk

I mean, does at least track with the previous game

You could mod it just do it offline. Don't see the problem obviously they don't want you modding in their multiplayer so you'll probably get banned if you ever go online.

This concerns me more, why, how old are DLSS 3 and FSR 3?

What about RayTracing, DLSS, and other PC-specific technologies?
- DLSS2 / FSR2: Available at launch.
- DLSS3 / FSR3: Planned for post-launch.
- RayTracing / HDR: Not supported.

well as they put the funding of the game on the long term with cosmetics. It makes sense that they don't want mods since cosmetic mods are likely to be very present.

As long as there is actually content added, notably PVE/PVP maps or other it's better that way.

I mean, no support doesn't mean people can't mod it. Mods have been made for pc games all across their existence without official support from devs or publishers.

I know, it was more of a rhetorical question, I can see a pattern of studios using very old version of these when their games heavily need them, just a bit disappointed, not upset at anyone just this whole behavior.

Hopefully for DLSS is at least 2.5.1, I'm going to be so triggered if is something like version 2.1
